Investor Relations & Development Officer

Carmine Cozelino is the Investor Relations and Development Officer at UNW Inc. He is responsible for developing and executing the company's capital strategy, meticulously crafting plans to raise funds that align with its growth objectives. His understanding of market dynamics and investment landscapes position him as a catalyst in securing venture capital, managing private equity investments and navigating intricate debt financing structures.

 

Prior to joining UNW, Mr. Cozelino served as President at American Elm Distribution Partners, a leading boutique marketing and distribution company focused on alternative investments including Startups, Private Credit and Venture Investments. Mr. Cozelino was instrumental in growing, training and managing the internal and external sales teams and building out marketing and branding for the various investment opportunities on the platform. He has spent the last 20 years cultivating relationships with Institutional Investors such as Endowments, Hedge Funds, Family Offices and Insurance Companies. He held senior leadership roles with Arboretum Investment Advisors, a manager of various alternative asset funds focused on growth & income and served as an investment committee member for one of their largest private credit offerings. Mr. Cozelino also served as Vice President Product Specialist with CION Investments, which focused on non-traded equipment finance funds. As the Head of Internal Sales he was instrumental in the launch of CION Investment Corp, a non-traded BDC sub advised by Apollo Investment Management. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Cozelino actively contributes to the financial community, participating in industry events and forums. His expertise has earned him recognition as a thought leader in alternative investments and capital markets, and he often shares insights on emerging trends and best practices. Mr. Cozelino received his B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from Hofstra University.
