Maurice Caicedo

DIRECTOR OF immersive Visual Effects

Maurice Caicedo is the Director of Immersive Visual Effects at TIPtech. His responsibilities include creative design, 3D animation, 3D modeling, virtual reality software development and immersive web development. Additionally, he works with TIPtech artists and engineers to develop innovative and immersive solutions for TIPtech's client installations.

Maurice Caicedo is an award-winning 3D Animator, Director and Entrepreneur based in NYC. His work has been featured on Motionographer, Stash Magazine, Boards, Creativity, Post Magazine, as well as a theatrical/cinematic release for his work on Nike's Shoxploitation campaign which is now a part of the Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection. During his years as a freelancer, Mr. Caicedo was an integral part of the creative process on projects for some of NY's leading studios, including Psyop, Shilo, Superfad, Buck, Stardust and Mass Market. In 2006, he was fortunate enough to animate 'Darkside of the Moon' for Roger Water's [lead singer/song-writer of Pink Floyd] world tour during his partnership at The String Theory which he helped build and operate for a number of years. He also owns and operates ~Hey Mister!~ a full service VFX, Animation and Interactive Studio in the heart of downtown Manhattan.
